Would merit aid be included in the financial aid report along with the need-based grants and loans? Because I don’t see any merit aid awards on the page. :(

Yeah, I'm the in the same situation. Not only have I not received an official acceptance package- nor any email- yet (I know I am in because I received a congrats letter from spa...), my portal gives only a very small loan (about $1,313) and I have no idea about honors. Does anyone know if there is any truth to the rumor that if your acceptance packet is delayed it means that they are still considering you for merit money (that maybe others turned down within the two week time frame...)?? Any info would be great!!

No if your packet is delayed it means it got lost in the mail. I got a letter from SIS congradulating me on my admission and on my Dean's Scholarship before I got my admissions packet. My dad called and American said that they are remailing a lot of the packets because a lot of people have not recieved them. Merit Aide has been decided I do believe. It wouldn't hurt to call them and tell them that you do not have your packet.

Honors was communicated in the admission decision. Merit aid came on the portal a couple days later, and then in the formal written letter in your packet.

It's not lost. They just shipped their packets all media mail (very slow).
