Anybody receive any?

I got an academic scholarship ($15,000). I'm hoping to get a music scholarship, as well (if that's possible).

I got the Chancellors Achievement Scholarship(15,000 over 4 years-5,000/year freshman and sophmore year and 2,500/year junior and senior year) and the Presidential Scholarship(10,000/year

How long after your acceptance do you find out about Merit aid? Same time?

What sort of stats does an out of state student need to get offered the Chancelor's or Presidential Scholarships? Does anybody know anyone who has gotten either of those? (other than Molly247)

My son who is out of state got both scholarshps also.

32 ACT
2160 SAT (750CR, 690M, 720W)
36/640 class rank

He has applied for both the Norlin and Presidential Leadership also.

With the 15,000 it is getting closer to being like an in state school..

whynotniwot - Just to clarify, your son was offered BOTH the Chancelor's ($15,000 over 4 yrs) & the Presidential ($40,000 over 4 years)? If that's correct, it means they stack those two and that's very good news for an out of state student!

BGI123456 - I may have been mis-spoken. He got the chancellors and the national scholar/honors admissiion which is worth 15,0000. They will stack the Presidential Leadership scholarship and the Norlin scholar with these.

Looked at the letters again. It is a combination of the Presidents and Chancellors. This totals to 15,000/yr for first two years.
I get the PLC and the Presidents confused. Sorry.
