<p>My D got an $8,0000 Leadership Scholarship - the max you can get for good ECs. She did not get anything for grades. Her GPa was 4.3 out of 4.0, SATS were 650M, 690R, 780 W, 5s on two AP tests. She did not get into the honors program but was fine with that.</p>
<p>Wow zonian- those are really nice stats! At least she was recognized for Leadership.
$8K is a big help! I hope they take her AP credits. My nephew graduated Georgetown a semester early b/c of AP + summer abroad program. Stayed in DC for the last semster (off campus housing) got an internship, tortured his friends since he did not have school work and saved his parents $20K…</p>
