Has anyone received any merit based aid notification (or specific offer) from uChicago (out of state)? There are some in state merit scholarships (not need based) for Chicago residents - but I am asking about specific merit only offers in 2013 for out of state residents. If you have - could you post what the offer was and when and how you received it (via email, snail mail, etc.). At this time, I assume it would be for Early Action admits, but if not please post the details. Thanks.

I received my merit aid package (10K/yr) on the day that I got in. It was a link on the site right next to my decision letter.

I also received notification the day I was admitted

My D in another midwestern state recieved her merit aid notification at the same time she got her EA admission confirmation (linke via the U Chicago portal, with a paper copy arriving later in the mail). There were three things on the portal for her: acceptance letter, merit aid letter, and FA award letter.

My Daughter received an email notification today with a link to the web portal. On the portal there was a link to a letter that informed her of a $5K per year scholarship.

I got a merit aid scholarship ($10k) in January – so a month after I was admitted. They sent me an email saying there was an update to my portal and there was a letter online about it.
