<p>There is the prestigious AB Duke Scholarship at Duke University, however, it is the most difficult scholarship in the country.</p>
<p>Yeshwanth, a need based aid is more probable than a merit scholarship. From intuition, apart from Duke, I don’t think most (if not all) top universities provide merit scholarships.</p>
<p>I think Carnegie Mellon does. There was a box in which it asked if we would be interested in a merit based aid.</p>

<p>If you are looking towards Liberal Arts Colleges, U of Richmond and Washington and Lee University have merit aid, namely ‘Richmond Scholars’ and ‘Johnson Scholars’, respectively.</p>
<p>Whatever there may be, keep in mind it is extremely hard to get these.</p>
<p>3-4 internationals max will get it at each college; so in all likeliness not more than 1 Indian. </p>
<p>Best bet? Emigrate.</p>
