I am a undergraduate freshman student looking to transfer for this fall, but I would need to receive a good scholarship in order to do so, one to out-compete the one I received at my current university. I am middle-class, and look to receive nothing from FAFSA, and so need merit-based scholarships. Basically, I'm looking for a good school that has good (as in 3/4 to full tuition or full-ride) merit scholarships. Does this even exist for transfer students? I have a 4.0 GPA, and my SAT is above 2100.

Most schools often less scholarship to transfer than freshman.

See the Resources sticky thread at the top of the Transfer Students forum for a link to some merit aid; however, 3/4 to full tuition will be difficult to come by.

It is pretty unusual to get a full or even 3/4 tuition scholarship for a transfer student. At our school the maximum transfer scholarship is less than 1/4 the maximum freshman scholarship (even for a 4.0 GPA).
