merit based sholarship for regular decison?

My son applied to UIUC regular decision. My question is if there is any chance for a student who applied regular decision to get any merit based scholarship?

I remember reading in some mailing stuff that to be considered for merit one had to apply by the ‘priority deadline.’ However, I cannot find anything that states that on the website, so I might be mistaken.

Part of the site says to be considered for merit “you need only apply” which implies there is no special deadline. Besides that, many of the scholarships given out by the Colleges have later notification dates, so I assume they take everyone into consideration.

I did recently receive a ‘University Achievement Scholarship’ which is one of only two different university scholarships available to OOS. I don’t know whether they hand them out all-at-once or on a rolling basis.

for scholarship information.

Don’t be afraid to call the school if you have questions.

Very useful information. Thanks a lot!
