Merit Scholarship Amounts?

Still comparing daughter’s offers. We live overseas so her acceptance packet is unlikely to get here until some time next week. Website is rather vague as to the dollar value of their merit scholarships. Can anyone give me a ballpark idea as to how much UConn gives for the scholarships that are available to out of state students?

I’m out of state, and I got 15,000 per year!

Same here as above

I got 15K and the honors college, but that still doesn’t seem like enough money. Probably going to end up at Bing.

OOS and received 15k

OOS and my D got 12k

oos and 15k

Congratulations all! Thanks for responding as that gives us some idea as to what to expect. We will wait for her packet and see.

OOS, but unfortunately, no $$ mentioned in the acceptance letter.

Hello, in state here. I got accepted into the honors programs, and I already got my letter. Will scholarship info follow or did I not receive any?

Called admissions today, as I saw kids with lower GPA than my D getting $…and she got none. It doesn’t go by GPA…in order to get $ you must be in top 10% at your HS…so even with a 4.2 my D is only in top 13%…we get $0….2nd way to get $ is SAT score…M & R must be well over 1300…I forget the exact #. There are also special Scholarships for Valedictorian or Salutatorian if you are in state.

@veronicarollins‌ Merit money would be in the letter. I got money, and honors college as well. Other scholarships that have applications may follow
