<p>If this helps, my daughter received merit aid but did not get into the honors program. She had amost identical gpa but had 2240 sat. She’s a freshman there now. She had great EC and 8 a.p. Classes. She’s a freshman there now and loves it. Good luck to you, you definitely have a shot. </p>

<p>She applied undeclared. </p>
<p>That could be the reason for her denial as the honors program selects the top 10% of applicant from each particular major for the admission.</p>
<p>My daughter was undeclared and is in the honors program - they treat that pool the same as other schools (I think it is top 10% from each school that gets honors)</p>
