Merit Scholarship Awards

Does anyone know when Merit Scholarships are awarded to accepted students?

I know the last scholarship day is April 1. I think I remember reading it is after that – maybe mid-April.

When we visited, admissions told us that their goal is to mail scholarship letters within a two weeks following the acceptances. For RD applicants, it’s possible you won’t receive them until mid-April.

My S was accepted EA in mid Jan and have still not heard regarding any merit award . I was wondering if anyone from the EA acceptance pool been awarded merit scholarship?

I am still waiting and hoping for a merit scholarship too!

EA here - Son has not received anything yet. I thought they were to be mailed on 02/08/13.

Daughter EA- received merit scholarship letter today

No word from Rhodes on merit in today’s mail! Anyone else hear?

Nothing from California EA today.

And I failed to mention no word on merit aid via mail & we live on Long Island.

DS received his today - we are in the Philadelphia suburbs.

He received the Hon scholarship.
ACT 34; SAT 2100 in one sitting
3.65 UW/4.06 W
strong leadership
good ECs, but nothing spectacular

I got my letter here in NorCal a couple of days ago ($25,000).

Received word on merit award from Rhodes: $8,000/yr. Was hoping for a bit more but still grateful. Best of luck to all.

Received $20,000 Presidential Scholarship merit award! Rhodes is now a very good possibility.

Finally received my merit award today. I had applied for one of the fellowships so that might be why it took so long. I did not get the fellowship but was awarded a Presidential Scholarship! After reading the stats and accomplishments of the other accepted students I feel so grateful. I think It may have helped that I visited so many times And let Rhodes know how much I want to attend this fall. Good luck to everyone!

Scholarships and financial aid should be received by April 1st for RD students, according to the acceptance letter I received yesterday
