Hey guys! I was wondering if you think I have a chance of receiving a merit scholarship from UD?

-I was also my schools Herff Jones Principal Award winner

Thanks for the help! I am out of state, so any merit money would be amazing!

Based on the credentials you stated I am pretty sure you will receive scholarship money. I hope you applied to the honors program too because it is highly probable that you would be accepted into it as well.

I would be shocked if you didn’t get a merit scholarship. My D’s stats were a little lower than yours and she got a merit scholarship that we were very happy with. There are stats on the honors website that show the stats for admitted students. It’s pretty informative.

Relax. You WILL get in, and I can say with 99% certainty you will get into the honors program with a scholarship (unless there is some big black mark on your record that you’re not sharing!)

You will definitely get in and have a great shot at the honors program, BUT remember that it gets a lot of qualified, interesting applicants, so they take the essay for honors admission seriously and you should too. Good luck!
