Merit Scholarship Notification

ACT 31 (single sitting), 4.3 gpa, Dean’s leadership scholarship, honors college

Woodrow Scholars Stats please…

I got the Woodrow today! My SAT was a 1280/1600 and I had a 3.3 UW GPA, and a 3.8 W GPA

Good luck to everyone else!

Capstone Scholars/University Honors
-from California
4.37 out of 4.0
1440 out of 1600 SAT (and 740 W)
top 5% class

Thornwell

1230 SAT
3.43 GPA Weighted

So you can get a scholarship with pretty low stats.

Forgot to say In-State tuition as well

Woodrow for me with 4.23 WGPA and 28 ACT (30 superscore).
I’m pretty certain they look at highest one sitting score for scholarships because I think I would have gotten McKissick with the 30 superscore.

augirl … Thornwell

1230 SAT
3.43 GPA Weighted

Not in my case, High GPA 4.5 weighted / 26 ACT no scholarship!!! / w/4 AP classes and 1 College Class local CC, very disappointed :(

Don’t feel bad Nxtchaptr83.
Not far behind you 4.3 weighted, 24 ACT, IB Diploma and not even admitted.

Sorry to hear that AdaQuince, Do you have a backup plan and have you committed to go to another school …which one? Its been hard, it feels like everyday someone asks me where are you going to college!

Thats amazing (and scary) that people with 4+ GPA’s and 24 ACT scores are being rejected. I’ve had several students with worse numbers to tell me that they have recieved acceptance letters (were they truthful?).

A 24 ACT score would have been a better ACT score than 22% of accepted students (just looked it up).

mckissick+scholars invite…2010 SAT (710 M, 650 R, 650 W), 3.75 UW, 3.90 W, top 10%

To those who received scholarship offers: do you plan to accept the scholarship and attend USC?

still not sure- have the woodrow - OOS

I recieved an e-mail informing me about the Merit Scholarship i have recieved. It takes away 8,000 dollars per year to a total of 32,000 dollars. I believe I recieved it since I got a 2000 on the SAT, because my GPA was around a 3.0 UW so on the lower end of the scale I believe.

Hiddy,Hiddy: Yes, dd will be attending in the fall (Major: Exercise Science)

Just found out I got the Mckissick, so $2,000 a year and in-state tuition. I have about a 3.6 UW/3.8W and 2260.

I’m thrilled, but will not be accepting; I’m already committed to University of Alabama, where I have a full ride.

I got the Sims Scholarship $8,000 per year. My stats are around a 3.6 GPA, 1870 SAT (1230 CR and M). I am already committed to Bama but might switch my decision because this scholarship is a lot better than the Capstone Scholarship I received at Bama.
