Has anyone admitted to the engineering school received a scholarship yet? How about notification for the honors program?

My son received notification of a merit scholarship for engineering over the weekend.

I was accepted to the college of engineering as a computer science major and received a $12,000 a year scholarship, however I’m not sure if this was from the university or engineering college. No word from honors college

My D just declined the admission offer to ChemE with James Scholars. The lack of merit aid really make the decision easy.

I received the James Scholar invite and a $12000/yr merit scholarship earlier this month, which made UIUC look a lot more attractive considering I pay OOS tuition.

If I haven’t received anything in the mail yet should I assume I didn’t receive any merit scholarship?

^ Did you check your enterprise login? Your FA package should be posted there.
For ta near $50k oos CoA, it is still not affordable even with a $12k scholarship to many.

The $12,000 per year scholarship (which is called the University Achievement Scholarship), if I remember correctly, isn’t distributed by the College of Engineering and is only for OOS students. I’m not sure if the COE scholarships have come out…though I’m admitted as undecided engineering, so I probably won’t get anything.
