<p>It seems that I have to do two internships during two summer sessions. Since I am out-of-state that could end up being very expensive. Do merit scholarships also cover summer school sessions?</p>
<p>That would be a question for the financial aid office, but in general I would say no. However, you have to consider your final financial aid offer…it may be that yearly COA ends up being less than expected so that even with summers you come out less than upper limit of budget you and family have set. Also, (sports management, right?) talk to major advisors about it. Obviously if you get course credit, you have to pay tuition for credit hours but other costs will depend on where the internship is and might can be somewhere close to home.</p>
<p>SCmom12…thanks I emailed financial aid today. I am hoping to receive one of the merit scholarships that gives me in-state tuition and really hoping they honor that over the summer even if I dont receive any money</p>
