Anyone know the date or around when merit scholarship like Annika Rodriguez finalists will be contacted? Is it in February?

Mid February, it was Valentine’s weekend last year!

Thanks! And is that date for all WashU merit scholarships?

How important were the essays? My academics are super good (2400, 1/300, research internship, good extracurriculars, good leadership, regional/state awards) but idk about my essays–I’m guessing they’re only decent because I applied to every single merit scholarship and there were a lot of essays so I basically edited and reused for most of them and didn’t get to spend that much time on the essays. My essays are at least decent though, I think. Do I still have a good shot?

Can anyone else confirm mid-February for merit scholarship finalist notification date?

What about the smaller things like the Bioscience Research Program? It doesn’t require an interview (as far as I know…) so will it just come out with regular decisions?

Why don’t you simply call the university and check for yourself instead of asking people who know nothing more than you !

Jeez no reason for the sass. CC forums are a place for people with similar questions to come together and discuss. Obviously everything on online forums should be taken with a grain of salt because people can lie or simply be wrong. I know that others may not know more than me but you never know if someone has already called, received an answer, and can then put the answer out there for not only me but for others too.

Plus calling the universities about release dates rarely yields any useful info.
