I'm a junior in college and I'm looking for merit scholarships/fellowships/awards that dancers (dance majors or students who aren't dance majors but are still very involved in dance as an extracurricular activity) can apply for. Does anyone know of any besides the Jessica Karrat scholarship? I've been searching the web but I haven't been able to find much information on this. I'd be grateful for any advice you might have. Thanks so much!

Unfortunately we have seen very few scholarships for dancers in general. There are academic scholarships but many schools do not have them for the dance majors specificially. And when they do they are not that large.

You might look up Harlequin floors. They have an annual scholarship program from 500-5000 dollars. It is a randon drawing so it is basically pot luck. But DD got $500 for any dance related expenses for filling out a 5 minutes form.
