What larger state schools in the Southeast would be a good choices for merit aid for a student with a W GPA 4.7 and UW GPA 3.9 but a lower SAT score?
Lower SAT than what?

HS course rigor?
EC’s?
What is the budget before merit?

First it is not my kid. I was asked to help by the parents of a first generation college student. Not sure on the major, originally it was Criminology but probably now the goal is Law School. 1230 SAT without prep and is waiting for the September score with Prep. List now is EA Georgia and South Carolina. Also Clemson, UF, UCF, LSU and Miss State. Parents don’t want her at LSU or Miss.
