I am an international student and applied to a couple of universities early action in November. I was accepted to some of them like Iowa State and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (got the decision in November and early December). But none of the universities mentioned anything about scholarships. Will I get any merit scholarships? What should I expect?
Every college is different. You need to make sure you look at each school’s website. Search “international student scholarships undergraduate.” For example, Iowa State requires that you complete OneApp AFTER being accepted in order to be considered for the few international scholarships that are available (they range from $2,000 to $10,000 per year). Every school will have different requirements; not all schools offer scholarships for international students.
