Merit Scholarships Still Not Posted...

Merit Scholarships are still not posted in the financial aid packages of many returning students. FYI, we phoned today and the financial aid office said it might be August 1st before some students see their scholarships officially posted.

The person my daughter spoke with advised that if you have a merit-based scholarship and you are confident you have met the requirements (i.e., GPA) for it to be renewed, to make financial plans including that unposted scholarship in your calculations.

Even if you don't meet the required GPA, you still receive the scholarship, but are put on academic probation and given 1 semester to raise your GPA above a 3.0

I wouldn't stress out over this at all. You will definitely know when you won't be receiving a scholarship anymore, haha
