maguo1:
My D is a freshman at UM this year....she received "significant" money from UM based on Merit (and some financial need). She is a Voice major and we were told she was recommended for the scholarship based on her audition AND her academic record, so because her admittance was based on her audition, it puts her in a bit of a different category than you. She, too, is out of state. We were, quite frankly, shocked at the amount of aid she received. You should definitely try for it..you, too, might be pleasantly surprised.

Thanks musicalthtrmom.
Does anybody have similar stats as me and recieved or not recieved money. i'm looking to pay under ten thousand for UM (30000 scholarship). That's where it would make UM attractive over U of F or a good private school.

My S similar stats (actually slightly lower), OOS (though legacy) was offered a 15,000/yr scholarship from LSA.
