Merit Scholarships

If anyone has received a merit scholarship from Ursinus, I would be very interested to know how much $$ as well as SAT score.

Thanks!

my daughter got 30K/yr scholarship offer. SATs 2300 GPA 4.0 unweighted

My son also 30K/yr scholarship offer. SAT 2250, ACT 35, GPA 4.2 weighted, lots of AP, ECs, sports, valedictorian.

My dd was offed a 30k scholarship, with just under 2300 SAT, 4.0 unweighted, 4.6 weighted GPA. She was also a NMSF.

The two students I am aware of from our area who received admission offers from Ursinus had significantly lower standardized test scores, about 1200 (M&CR) in both cases. They were Top 10 students in their respective classes , however, had taken challenging courses and were very active in their school community. One received a 17K per year scholarship, the other 20K.

Was merit money indicated in the acceptance letter? My son was accepted, but we haven’t heard anything about funding.

The letters were separate and weeks apart. Hope that helps.

It does, thanks.

My son’s merit scholarship letter came around 2 weeks after his acceptance letter. He was offered 18k/yr and his weighted GPA was 3.8 (unweighted around 3.68). His SAT scores were 600 writing, 630 math, and 660 critical reading.

Does anyone know if Ursinus promises to meet 100% of need-based aid? I’d be surprised if they do, but I’m just curious.
