Merit Scholarships

<p>I was accepted ED and I'm planning to apply for merit scholarships. I think I'm a good candidate as far as my grades and the essays go.</p>

<p>I was wondering if they actually give these to any ED kids, or if they're primarily used as a tool to lure RD students away from Ivies.
Does anyone know?</p>

<p>They can give it to ED, but most likely its going to be harder for you to get one. Theres always a chance though. Try your best and you never know. You chose the right school though. Good luck!</p>
