<p>My daughter got $6000 for the first year from the Nursing school in late February. We are in state. She also got the $1500 earlier. I expect the scholarship from the nursing school will be awarded again if she does well in the coming years. It’s totally unexpected since she is in-state. We are very happy. We already pre-paid her 4 year college. Now the money can be used to cover her expense.</p>

<p>ACT 33, UW GPA 3.998.</p>

<p>I also got the Jean Fairfax Scholarship, it is 10k per year for 4 years (so a total of 40k).</p>

<p>I’m so thankful that Michigan is so generous with merit scholarship for OOS people!</p>

<p>My stats are:
3.81/4.44 GPA, 2100 SAT score, president of 3 clubs, 3 season varsity athlete, from a competitive public school in NJ</p>
