I’m an out of state student and I know the UCs are ending financial aid to out of state students, but I was wondering if that applied to merit-based aid as well. I love UC Berkeley but I definitely can’t afford 60k a year.
UC’s offer few merit scholarships and they are competitive (top 1%) such as Regents which would help but would make only a small dent in the actual costs. Most scholarships are for local or instate residents.
