<p>Medical related? Looks like about a quarter of the proposals are not in the scinces and many that are, are in computer science, and some in physics and the like. There are a couple that could be useful to the business major but yes not a lot. Actually, considering the size of the engineering school there are few in that area either.</p>
<p>You can't get a business degree at Rice University, and in most cases you shouldn't want to. In most cases, I argue that majoring in business will avert your focus from other rewarding and viable studies and that business knowledge should be picked up on the fly or in an MBA program (assuming that business and economics are separate disciplines).</p>
<p>Did anyone receive the engineering scholarship, and how much was it? </p>
<p>Just curious. The scholarship is listed on Rice's website but it doesn't seem like many people get it.</p>
