<p>when they say that they RECOMMEND that all applications to be considered for merit scholarships should be in by november 15th, is that basically like mandatory? how hard is it to get a scholarship if u send it in later, like maybe around december 1st?</p>
<p>it is harder, but still possible. I would deefinitely have it in by Nov 15, though. U Mich isn't that generous to start with.</p>
<p>they don't give a ton of merit scholarships out. i would follow the deadline, you pretty much have no chance if you don't.</p>

<p>hmm, i tried googling it but i cant seem to find where it talks about recommending the 15th. do you guys think it would make a difference i got it in the 16-17th??</p>
