Merit Scholarships

My daughter is quite interested in Lawrence, and we have applied, awaiting admissions feedback and scholarship award info. With LU tuition/room/board at $42,000, merit $$ is of great interest to us. What have been others experience with Lawrence's merit scholarships? For us, daughter is 4.0 GPA, ranked (tied) 1st in class, ACT of 29 (english 32, math 26), varsity letter in swim and track (intends to compete in college track), school newspaper editor, some writing awards won. But of course, LU is a high performing student body. Those with kids in Lawrence, what kind of academic profile with your own kids yielded how much merit $$? Thanks in advance for any feedback people are willing to share.

Oh ... for veteran students/parents, what are the dorms like?

Thanks!

Most kids get between $9,000 and $12,000 per year. There are a few very competitive ones that go up to $15,000/yr.

In the following link, the Academic and Music scholarships cannot be stacked (only the best will be awarded).
