I just wanted to say that I hope everybody has a great Christmas day with their families at home. Merry Christmas to everyone. :)

^Happy holidays/winter break!!

Merry Christmas to the lovely parents here on CC! Thank you for the gift of counseling that you've given to ALL of us!

I'd also like to wish a Merry Christmas to all the students and parents I've 'met' here. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and vacation with their kids, and I also wish for everyone to have the opportunity to take a break from application and admissions stress. We have a ton of snow here but fortunately everyone in the extended family made it to town safely and we have a full house, which is nice. Good tidings to all! :)

Happy holidays to all from MA. No white Christmas here this year; in fact, we woke up to blinding sunshine!

Happy Holidays, No blinding sun in NYC but it is a little cold. The holidays always see, a little different when it falls on the weekend. All of the best to our friends in Indiana & Ohio as you come out from underneath the snow

Hey Merry Christmas everyone! I am glad we didn't have snow- It can be very hard to visit my relatives when the roads are icy and such. Everyone enjoy your day :D

Happy holidays from sunny CA...it is a beautiful 72 degrees! :)

Merry WHITE Christmas from South Texas! Yes, I have a foot of snow! What are the odds? It hasn't ever snowed like this here before, and the last measurable storm was 86 years ago! I think son must have brought it back from PA. Are you PA folks missing any snowflakes?

Happy and joyous holidays to all my forum friends and their families. Enjoy, particularly if you have a kid home from college. May your holidays be filled with special moments with the ones you love.

Susan

Merry Christmas everyone!! I wish your families the best this holiday season.

Texastaximom, that's downright scary!

We got about 2 feet in Cleveland. Just another day at the office though. Roads were cleared about six hours later. Side streets are a different matter.

For the ten thousandth year in a row, San Diego did not have a white Christmas.

Happy holidays to all.

Merry Christmas from the snowbelt east of Cleveland. The little lighted reindeer are up to their antlers in snow!

Happy Holidays everyone!

We drove from Wisconsin back to Chicago today. Just a bit of snow :)

Merry Christmas to all - it's very chilly here in Baltimore but no snow :(

we don't have any snow in PA :)

Fender: probably because it all came here instead! I'll have to check my son's bags more carefully next time. Shall I send the snow back with him in a few weeks?

The equivalent up north would be a 40 inch snowfall according to our news reports. It was a swath right along the coast from Brownsville all the way to Houston. Corpus had six inches of snow! We seemed to be at the peak point for some reason.

Momsdream: yes...it is very surreal and the lack of snow removal equipment and snow tires makes it very scary! It should be entirely melted by Monday when it gets back up into the 70s.

Happy holidays to all-- and sorry to hear about all the bizarre weather--- it was a tad chilly down in the Bahamas where my family spent the past 4 days :) All teasing aside, it was fun to have my freshman back from Texas (don't know if the snow hit Houston-- did it Taximom??) for what could possibly be a final family vacation It caused a lot of mixed feelings-- weird to have drinks and go to the casino with him (the legal age is 18 there) but great to have the family back together and him out of cellphone range from his friends :) My younger s. really missed his big bro, and watching them spend time together on something other than videogames was a joy :) (they loved that jetski!). But alas, we are now back, it is in the 30's here in the south, and we are doing loads of laundry. Back to reality... and to enjoy our college frosh for a bit longer, before 2nd semester is upon is....

I wish I was in the Bahamas! The weather is awful here :(
