Message Center on 'The D' online

I sent a message using the message center, but nothing shows up under the 'Sent Messages" tab nor under the "Message Archive" tab...Also, the website says, "You have unread messages in your Inbox," but there's nothing actually in the inbox...has anyone else had this happen?

Yes! But I didn't send a message before hand. No clue. Lol! That probably means we've been accepted, but Duke is hiding the message until late March rocks self gently

Oh, I just figured it out. I think it's a problem with the code. After I emailed admissions about it, a reply came up, and my mailbox said "NAME, you have 1 unread messages in your inbox." So usually, the message follows the format of "NAME, you have X unread messages in your inbox." When X=0, X is not shown, so the message reads as "NAME, you have _ unread messages in your inbox." The whole message should really just disappear.

Just send a random email to admissions, it will auto-reply with a FAQ message, archive the message, and hopefully it will go away.

haha wouldn't that be awesome

(that above post had to do w/ his original post, before he edited it... now it doesn't make as much sense)

thanks for clearing that up...but my problem is with sending messages, too. I sent a message using the message center, but it isn't listed under the SENT MESSAGES tab nor under the ARCHIVE tab...so i sent a second copy, and the same thing happens. No reply, no record of me ever sending a message. Is there an email address you can use to contact the admissions office?

b u m p...any help would be greatly appreciated...does anyone know of any e-mail address or other contact method that I can use? I've tried looking, but haven't found anything yet. Thanks.
