I was wondering, maybe from someone who applied ED and got in this year, when you log on to the site, exactly what does it say? Does it say congratulations before you click on the link to view the letter? Thanks!

I was deferred ED and all it said was click on the link to view your decision and it was the letter. I was just wondering if it's any different with an acceptance

Dear name,
Congratulations on your acceptance into the College of Arts and Sciences at Cornell University! etc.
It just says stuff about how “you will receive an official letter by mail soon” and how they’re very excited I’ll be joining them, etc… It’s not very interesting haha.

When I was accepted, I couldn’t tell what my decision was until I looked at the letter. Good luck!!!

“Dear ______:
Congratulations on your acceptance into the College of Engineering at
Cornell University! We are very pleased to be welcoming you to the
Cornell Class of 2015.”

I think that was only a small part of the acceptance letter, though.
This was just the most important part! :D

Also, after logging in, your decision doesn’t present itself immediately. First you have to click “View Decision” or something similar, and then the letter will pop up in a new window. You’ll only know whether or not you were accepted when you click that link.
