hi everyone :)
i never had an interview before with a school, and i totally messed up on my usc interview. i really don't think it went well at all. will this affect my chances of admission? i really, really hope not :(

You’re not really giving one much to go on, but if the interview process for USC is like those for other schools, it doesn’t count much either way.

I don’t know how the interview would affect admissions, but read this thread. Hopefully, it’ll make you feel better.

You have to mess up BIG time for an interview to count against you. After all, you took the time to come out to the interview, and that shows your enthusiasm and interest in the college - definitely something positive. I wouldn’t worry too much.

If you have the interviewers contact information, you could e-mail them thanking them for their time and for the opportunity to interview.

hey guys!! thank you!! :)

Ya, don’t worry too much. My first couple of interviews didn’t go so well either. In general, though, I think interviews can only help you out. =)
