Messed up big time.. Is it too late?

<p>So I officially accepted a university that I applied to and paid the entrance fee and board fee.
However, I just realized I was accepted to a different college and now I want to switch... The college that just sent me their letter says the deadline is May 1st. It's only April now... so I can still accept it, but what do I do about the other college I already said that I was matriculating to?</p>

<p>No, of course it’s not too late. This sort of thing happens all the the time when people are accepted off a waitlist after having taken a spot elsewhere. Your situation is not any different. Just contact the first college and withdraw your acceptance. Then accept at the second college. Hopefully you’ll be able to get your deposits back, though that will depend on the school’s policy.</p>
