Anyway, I made a fafsa correction about a month ago and today I take a look at my SAR and the EFC is 15 000 HIGHER than it was a year ago although the financial situation at home has not changed!!! Is there anyway to fix this or am I screwed for this academicd year?

What kind of correction did you make? If you made a proper correction, then the original EFC was a mistake. If these are the right numbers in your FAFSA I would not say you were "screwed"; you are getting what you are supposed to get under federal methodology. Look and see how that correction came up with a $15K higher EFC or if you made some mistake or have some misunderstanding.

true. if there we NO changes, and the # is 15k different, either you benefitted from a mistake last time, or there is a mistake this time.
