Messed up freshman year

I just finished my freshman year with a low gpa. I want to apply to good colleges and would like to know if this affects my chances of getting admitted into colleges.

Just have an upward trend in your GPA while taking rigorous classes, do some worthwhile extracurriculars activities that show you have a passion in something, etc. You’ll be fine so don’t stress yourself.

Get good grades the next three years, and don’t take classes that are too easy for you. Do some extracurriculars, too, and you’ll be okay. A few colleges don’t even include freshman grades, but most do.

You have three years to pull it up and you must not overload your schedule because you will crash and burn and caused your GPA do die even a little more. You’ll be fine if you do classes you can do (and take Honors, if you can AP, if you dare) and aim for nothing lower than a B and adapt to healthy studying habits and always do the homework and try your best!
