Messed up Grading Scale...

I have pretty good grades for the most part and my gpa is sitting at a 2.9 cumulative. This is do to my grade in math the last few years. Im consistently getting D's in the class. However at my school they change the math grading scale so that anything under a 75 percent is considered failing While in every other class a 60 percent or below is failing. I should really be getting a C or C+ in the class, but it looks terrible on a transcript. If i send in a form with my schools math grading scale, do you think they can look past the D's?

you should really try to get it up higher than that, although if worse comes to worst, then you should probably mention the grading scale thing, it might help explain a D, but not entirely

yeah i know, its always been my weakpoint. my grades are enough to get me into most minnesota public colleges, but im stretching for UW-Madison, even though its a reach.

I think it would be best to have your guidance counselor send in the grading scale.
