Messed Up in highschool dual enrollment, what do i do?

Hey, so in the summer before senior year in highschool, i took a 5 credit precalc class in 6 weeks, but i got really really sick and i missed a lot of quizzes i couldnt make up. I ended up with an A on the final and knew the information well, but i got a C in the class. It was a dual enrollment class and it really depresses me. I am back at that community college and doing well, but i feel like this grade may haunt me. I got a 3.7 this past semester, but because of that class im at a 3.1 overall. I know i can get a 4.0 next semester, because i got one B this semester in a class with a bad teacher. If i don't get a single B the rest of my next three semesters, I can end up with a 3.79. This C brings my GPA down .16 so the highest i could have gotten with straight A's all 2 years long and that grade is a 3.84. If i dont get another B, my GPA towards my AA degree will be a 3.95. Is there any way of explaining or showing this to colleges i apply to? I'm a super hard worker and i really want to go to USC (Cali) but you need like a 3.9 coming out of a community college, and it's just not possible with that C. I feel like since i took it before college they should take that into account, do you think they will? What should i do?
