Well as said I am currently a junior and my hs GPA is 2.69 not including this semester (I will probably get like a 3.65). I realised that I completely messed up my college future, by not caring I am currently doing ok, have all A's and a C in Precal, that's is the only class I struggle in. So far I have in mind,
- do lots of community service I'm think about 300-500 hours
- do great on the sat and act, already got the books!
-keep working on my GPA
If I get a 3.80 next semester , and senior year, how much i would my GPA go up ?
Well any advice is welcomed, help this high school student that made a big mistake :-( I'm scared don't want to go to community college.

You only have 3 semesters to “undo” the damage of the prior four semesters since the last half of your last year really won’t be viewed by a college admissions officer.

I mean…do the math.

IF you can pull 3.7-3.8 over these three semesters, your GPA would creep into the 3.1 range.

Advice? Make all A’s from here forward, smoke the SATs, and have a compelling story why you screwed up Fresh and Soph years.

Look up SilverTurtle’s SAT preparation post in the College section…i

Thanks you for the advice, not to be arrogant, but I’m pretty smart I say if I study I can get a 4.0 no problem I mean I pull of a 3.6 with just paying attention. As for community service does that look good? And is SilverTurtle’s SAT, better then the McGraw hill SAT practice books? I’m pretty sure I can pull of a great SAT score, but won’t that just make me look like a lazy student?, and what about the ACT? And should I try to get lots of community service hours?
Thanks
