messed up on the AP exam

and I already put down to send my score to Notre Dame. Pretty sure I'll get a 2. I'm only a sophomore, so will ND disregard the score if I do better on next year's exams and look at the fact that I'm interested so early, or will they put it against me that I got a 2 sophomore year for World History (not associated with anything close to my major).

Relax....... They dont put that much weight on this. They put weight moreso on your grade point average (GPA) and your SAT score. as well of course, as extracurricular activities, awards, legacy, minority status, etc.... one bad ap wont hurt you. I mean, you could even cancel the score if you wanted. It is possible.

yeah, don't worry, i finished in the 25th percentile (100 being the best) on an SAT II i was vastly underprepared for (chemistry), and i got in this year. if it's something option it only helps if it's good.

I think AP scores will mostly help and not hurt your chances. If you get 5's, it makes you a stronger applicant, but a couple bad scores won't put you out of the game. Good luck!
