Meteorology?

Hi. I'm looking to major in Meteorology when I apply to college this fall. I visited the campus once already and I'll be swinging by this Sunday, but does anyone know of the Meteorology program there? Is it expanding? Decreasing?

Thanks,
Kensir

I don't know anything specific about the meteorology program, but the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science has an outstanding reputation. Information about the programs can be found here.

Good luck.

I'm not sure if anyone else is interested, although I found the true undergraduate meteorology site, and it's quite informative...

If meteorology is your interest I would strongly suggest you look at the highly regarded program at Florida State. It is the oldest in the SE and one of the best in the US.

See: <a href="http://www.met.fsu.edu/%5B/url%5D">http://www.met.fsu.edu/</a></p>

For example, Max Mayfield at the NOAA NWS Hurricane Center and MIC Russell Pfost at the Miami NOAA NWS Forecast office are both FSU grads.

and

thank you! I certainly will do that.
