Metered Parking @ UCLA

I need to be on campus for about 1-2 hours today- what do you guys recommend in terms of parking? I know there's meters by the dorms, and possibly some in Lot 7 (I don't remember) but are there any other places w/ meters? I'd prefer not to shell out 8 bucks for an hour or two- any suggestions?

also meters on charles young d rive east by hilgard, chec k veteran for possible street parking

cool, do you know if there's any good restaurants in Westwood?

BJs, CPK, Acapulco, Chilis, and....well thats all I can think of right now..my fave is BJs :)

You might be long gone by now, but there are meters and pay-by-the-hour spots in lot 6 by Ackerman. I actually prefer those to meters because you get a receipt telling you when to be back, can pay by credit card, etc.

As far as restaurants, all of the above plus Damon & Pythias and Corner Bakery and Jerrys and Southstreet.

There is an Olive Garden as well.

what's your favorite restaurant allie

Eh. I really like everything listed here except Alcapulco.

I eat at Damon and Pythias a LOT. Also go to Chilis, BJs, Cpk, and Jerrys when I can drag my friends. Olive Garden is good for breadsticks.

I also go to Chipotle probably too much but that's not in Westwood.

Thanks, guys! I actually looked in one the earlier threads and eventually went to BJ's- DELICIOUS. I had the cookies 'n cream pizookie (sp?) and it was amazing, even though I was too full to truly enjoy it. I parked along Gayley (I think) at Strathmore and found FREE parking! A car just left so I lucked out.

ehh...the pizookie is just an overpriced diddy riese sandwich

^This is true.

Still good though.

I heard diddy rieses were about a buck?

Diddy Riese ice cream sandwiches are now $1.25.

http://www.dailybruin.ucla.edu/news/articles.asp?ID=37529

pizookies are like 3 times the size of a diddy riese sandwich too

The wonderful part about it costing a buck was that that was so much easier than the $1.25. Now I'll need to remember a quarter.

exaaaaactly
