Method to Approach Reading Section

I have noticed that on many of my practice tests that in the reading section, I tend to do very well in the Social Science and Humanities sections, followed by doing pretty good in the Prose section, but most of the time not doing well on the Natural Science causing me to lose significant points in reading. Which option would you guys consider more effective:
1. GO From Easy to Hard : SS,Human,Prose,NatScience
2. GO From Hard to Easy: NatScience,Prose,Human,SS

They both have pros and cons but which do you think would garner a higher score. Also, what helps you guys when doing the natural science sections? Thanks for all the help.

easy to hard easily.

you want to get as many right as possible.you don't want to waste 12 mins. trying to understand a hard passage.

Do everything in order. If you dont, you may forget to answer questions, or accidentally shift your answers up and down and end up missing all of them. Basically, read the whole thing through. As you are going, make sure to ask yourself what is going on. Be engaged and try to imagine what questions they are going to ask. the questions are pretty straight forward.

Try to remember (or even mark down quickly) what each paragraph is about. That way, if there is a question about a specific detail, you can find where it is (there are no line references in these questions). If you can't find a detail, just guess a paragraph and try to find it. The answer is always right there in the text. You should be able to find it.

For the science section, you just need to look for facts. It helps if you know a lot about science too. It is easy to do all the science questions without even reading it, as long as you can scan and pick out facts quickly. You just need to find specific sentences.

E.g. What did the scientists want to uncover when they were looking for xxxxxx in 1995?

You would use your memory of the text to find the paragraph where they were talking about research in 1995, and find the answer. It will be jumping out at you.

the prose section is definitely hardest, because it is less cut and dry. You just need to practice doing these.

For me natural sci and prose are the most involved; I read these. I only skim the SS/Humanities as I answer questions.

My method was giving myself 4 minutes to read the passage, and 4 minutes to do the questions. This is 8 minutes per section, which equates to 32 minutes. So I have 3 minutes of leeway just in case I get stuck on something.

I doubt many people would like this method though.
