What kind of activities are there other than presentations? Are there going to more tests?

Whoops, “are there going to be more tests” is what I meant to say. I think I read somewhere that there are going to be interviews… but I’m not sure. Would anyone like to clarify that?

I remember last year, take a test of English and Math before going to Meyerhoff Selection Weekend on Friday, and there is an interview on Saturday morning.

Okay, hence the business casual dress code I’m guessing. Thanks!

Has anyone heard if they are in?

My son had a phone interview last week for meyerhoff and was told they would respond on April 1

did you go to selection weekend? are you in state or out of state? Think I should be worried since there was no phone interview?

My son got his Meyerhoff envelope today. This Proud Mom is very proud!

Congratulations proudmom1313! Our daughter received her envelope today. A nice surprise!

Congrats to you too hsmom! We are so happy!

Congratulations! My son was also accepted!

Congrats ruthlynn! What is your son’s intended major? Are you out of state?

Thanks hsmom and congratulations to you and your daughter. Yes we are out of state. My son wants to major in math. What about your daughter?

My daughter intends to double in math/computer science.

Actually, my son talking about doing that as well. Are you in state or out of state?

We are in state.

Don’t you guys know the etiquette for forums? SHEESH. You’re not supposed to start a topic IN a topic, FYI. Next time, please be careful.

hsmom: “My daughter intends to double in math/computer science.”

Congrats! My D is a freshman at UMBC. Like your D, she is a double major in computer science/math. She received a scholarship for $15K/year. Is your daughter familiar with the program they have at UMBC for women majoring in computer science, information technology, or engineering?

umdclassof80: Are you referring to CWIT? If so, she is familiar with it. She will be a Meyerhoff scholar. Is your daughter in CWIT? PM me and we can chat further.

Is Myerhoff only for URM?
