MFA Programs: UNCSA vs. Carnegie Mellon (Production Management)

Hello everyone!

Remembered this site from my undergraduate adventure days and figured it might be worth a shot for my graduate adventure days as well.

I have formed an interest in both UNCSA’s new-ish Production and Project Management MFA program and CMU’s Stage and Production Management MFA program. There doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of material out on CMU’s program, I just know that in general it is a really good school. Meanwhile, UNCSA seems like it would fit me more since I’m coming from the live music industry and not from an undergraduate BFA environment. Does anyone have insider info on comparisons between each school’s MFA program quality or what type of people typically attend?

And I did NYU’s undergraduate music business program in the Steinhardt School so if anyone randomly has questions about that I’d be happy to answer!
