I am extremely interested in pursuing an MFA in graphic design, and have done extensive research on programs I am interested in, but am very concerned about affordability (and being able to pay back a massive pile of loans). I was wondering if anyone has any information or resources regarding scholarships, fellowships, or general aid for MFA degrees?

Might consider very carefully the MFA situation as a whole. In graphics design, the employability is good on a lesser degree at much less cost. The MFA is generally sold as a university/college teaching degree however the placement within that paradigm is only about 10%. And many in that arena end up as adjuncts and for many of them a large newspaper route might pay about as well.
As far as general aid, since MFA's are a terminal degree (although many don't seem to know that) what is available is generally scholarships and loans. By the point one gets to MFA level the grants and like aid are usually unavailable.
If your intention is to get graphics degree and go into work for a design firm, or as a freelancer-a better tactic might be to obtain the lesser degree such as a BFA/MA and apply the saved money to either acquiring equipment or to the job search itself.
MFA's are oversold by academia especially when the cost to potential placement situation is considered.
