Bravo, President Pasquerella!

She’s an amazing woman, and it’s great to have an alumna as president.

This is an excellent letter for many reasons:

Firstly, it’s compelling, clear and inspirational. It speaks to alumnae of this fine college about the role its president plays as a spokesperson.

Secondly, it is effortlessly timely and delivers a clear message in the liberal arts tradition. While politicians- and their support systems- come and go, here we have a point of historical perspective that will stand the test of time. Irrespective of the governor’s action in response, we can all see that a line has been drawn in the sand. It’s a relief to see some good old Yankee common sense laid out for all to see!

Thank you for this posting!
