I have been invited to a Miami Dade Honors college interview. For anyone that has gone through the process what kind of questions should I expect and how is the interview conducted.

The interview is a chance for you to show your best self. They’re most likely going to inquire as to why you selected the Honors College in the first place. Don’t make it seem as if though the Honors College is your last resort or a least-desired backup plan. Show that you’re committed and attracted to their program. After all, it is a great program. They may also inquire as to the subject matter of your essays. Why did you choose to write about x,y, and z? You should be honest, clear, and thorough. Give examples about your experiences if you can. In doing this, you’ll be able to showcase the attributes and personality traits that make you a shining student. Don’t be vague or insincere. The Honors College probably wants to select applicants that are good team players and ambitious about their potential transfer college choices. If you have dreams of attending x, y, and z university after the Honors College, mention it! They’re looking for go-getting students with aspirations of attending great universities after their first two years. It’s also good to ask some questions after the interview’s over. Asking questions shows that you’re sincerely interested in the program and that you wanna know as much as you can about it. Don’t ask questions that can be easily answered through a quick trip through their website, though. In sum, as long as you bring out the best in yourself and don’t seem contrived, everything will go smoothly. On another note, which campus did you apply to? Hi. I have currently submitted my Honors College Application, and sincerely, I am a little bit anxious. I applied for the priority deadline on January 15, 2021, and I was wondering how long approximately it should take to get an interview confirmation email.
