Son just completed the Miami application on Monday.Teacher recc is not required but when you submit your app online and get your receipt e mail there will be a "disclaimer" saying you can submit other materials including teacher recommendations,activity resume,etc.It tells you how to send that material. Son had sent the resume as part of the High Schools package of stuff (transcript,counselor recc) and now we'll send out the teacher reccomendation as they suggest.If you want the full text of what the message said in son's email,PM me.</p>
<p>True, they're not required, but if you have a good one or two, I would suggest sending them. It can only help.</p>
<p>My S also had HS send teacher recs with his package last year.</p>
