Miami Ohio vs. Michigan vs. Villanova

I have gotten into all three schools and would like to know what school is the best for an engineering education and which is the best to come out of, for jobs and internships. I hope to study mechanical or civil engineering. Thanks

Look up their ABET accreditation for those programs. Then look at the Net Price Calculators on each school’s web site.

University of Michigan without doubt. Their Mechanical Engineering (Engineering in General) is highly rated and Ann Arbor is a super College Town. The Engineering Facility at North Campus is State of the art, not to mention all the other highly rated professional graduate schools (MBA, LAW, Medicine, etc.) that stude3nts have access to.

Definitely UMich.

Go Blue!

If cost of attendance is not a factor, then Michigan is clearly the best of the three. But if cost comes into play, things get a lot trickier.

i don’t think Miami U offers civil engineering.

Thanks everyone. The hard part is deciding when cost does come into play

How much does each cost if you calculate (tuition, fees, room&board) - (scholarships, grants)?
What is your parents’ budget (without any loan)?
