Hi, can someone please let me know my chances of getting into UMich with my certain stats. The anxiety is killing me!

What state are you from? Act is in 25th percentile and gpa is just average. It’s going to be harder since ur out of state but if u come from an underrepresented state like Wyoming that may help

tons of new jersey students apply to umich. it’s one of the top 3 or 4 most represented states, so there will be a lot of competition. good luck!

You have a decent chance. GPA is fine but ACT is on the low side. EC’s are average since it lacks diversity. Overall I think it’d be a match so you definitely have a shot

My opinion…OOS, you need to up your game. GPA is lowish. ACT is average. There will be a lot of kids applying from NJ with more than 3 AP classes. Do NOT send the low teacher recommendation. (you only need one, send the 10/10). Your volunteer work with kids is good stuff. What are you hoping to study? I’d put your odds at about 20%, unless you’re first generation…that would bump your odds to 30%. Make your essays count. They’re your best hope. (all just my opinion…best wishes to you, please let us know how it goes)
