[Los Angeles Times - News from Los Angeles, California and the World](http://www.latimes.com/)

More downs than ups in his career.

Sure he made great music but he wasn’t a quality guy. Should of been in jail…

Still a legend and well I’m not saying he deserves to die… no one does.

E! said he was dead half an hour ago, too.

LA Times, AP, & Fox all agree, too.

a legend…

RIP

Apparently traffic in Westwood has basically shut down with people flocking to UCLA. Hopefully my dad and brother don’t have to walk home.

I think it’s as good as confirmed now. But it wasn’t when stupid TMZ reported it…

Poor guy, even though he may have changed, he still made amazing music and was a talented man. RIP.

Agreed, it’s hard to deny his amazing influence on modern music and dancing. I never got the hang of his footwork =(
Only at the age of 50 too…RIP
“The candle that burns twice as bright burns half as long.”

CNN has confirmed him dead.

He went without breathing for 20 minutes.

You can only go for 3-4 minutes without massive brain injury. 20 minutes is just unheard of.

It took the ambulances ten minutes to get there and ten minutes to get to his home. All twenty of those he wasn’t breathing…

I’m shocked.

o.O

R.I.P.
Legend, King of Pop, and one of the greatest entertainers of our time. You might not have liked everything he did but he’s a legend who made some of the greatest music in the world. I’m going to miss him.

:( He’s dead. How sad. And what a shocker?

i’m glad that stupid ugly child molester freak is dead
may he go to hell

…
wow, pigs, are you kidding me?

thats a little harsh i mean yes he did but he was a legend so RIP

Rest In Peace.

Never listened to his music, besides Thriller and Beat It. Never even heard about him until the 7th grade (yes, I lived under a rock.) Don’t particularly care, and do not feel a generational attachment to him.

Nevertheless death is death, may he RIP.

I’m not really that sympathetic. That said it is weird that’s he dead. *** I’m old.

To be honest, I was a bit afraid of Michael Jackson. And I couldn’t help laughing when I read the Onion article (before his death was confirmed).

I don’t really feel sad or anything, just a bit shocked.

RIP
